For some reason, he found it harder to lie to Ganon than anyone else. “No.” He lied, trying to keep his voice as calm and steady as possible. “Did you find your siblings?” Shadow froze for a moment, before he blinked and looked up. Shadow melted into the touch, smiling brightly. “There you are…I was starting to get worried.” He rumbled. He let out a soft ‘oof’ when Shadow rammed into his chest, wrapping his strong arms around his son, rubbing his back. Ganon’s ears twitched and he turned, a relieved expression on his face. “Dad!” He shouted, climbing out from the darkness. Ganon held a moonpearl in his hands, as he looked around the fogged-covered woods, and Shadow perked up. It was Ganon, even though his back was to Shadow, the teen could tell that the man was looking for him. In the distance, he saw a puff of orange. Opening his eyes, he found himself in the Lost Woods. He felt the world around him change before the tugging stopped. Closing his eyes, he let the tug pull him. Shadow gave his other half a quick hug, and a promise to try and distract Ganon as long as possible, before slinking into the darkness. ![]() He heard from Four’s letters how they felt about shades.
